I prefer lifted, however lifting a truck also takes away practabilty of a truck, so all those trashing saying it is now useless you must also hate lifted for the same reason?

haha no hurt feelings. this is my lowered ram for a toy and I have the powerwagon with a 8'' lift on 38's for towing my other toys and race cars. so actually i basicly ruin'd both trucks for what they were made for by dropping one and lifting one.

Don't know that I agree with this. Lifting may impact towing limits, depending on the lift kit chosen, but it ADDS in that you can then access offroad areas which you cannot with a stock vehicle.

I think it's right on! I bought my truck with lowering it in mind from the start.

Lowered=bad street ride
Lifted=bad street ride
Lowered=next to no hauling
Lifted=Hard to load and unload heavy items up there
Lowered=reduced towing
Lifted=reduced towing

So it is similar. I am not saying I like the lowered look, but I think some of the reasons posted may not be 100% accurate though.

well i really dont get some of guys you can tow with a lowed truck if set up right i do it often so like others said a lifted truck is no better. i have air bag spring helpers with mine so all i have to do is add a little air and then i can tow better then most of you lifted guys.

just because it not your idea of a perfect stance you dont have to act like an *** and i call it as i see it. I dont much care for the look of lifted truck but if this thread had the same title and truck was lifted i wouldn't flame the guy

oh yeah this is my truck with a 2/4.5 drop with a 4+k trailer and rolled over 300 miles and doing 70+ easy with no sway or issues

That looks stupid...

I'm just kidding man, it's a really nice looking truck. I just figured since we'd hit a nerve to stir the pot a little...

lmao man its all good its just sometimes im just like come on guys we all luv our trucks lifted droped or stock which is why we spend time on a sight about them. So ive always been like why not just appreciate for what it is. ive gave guys props on lifted trucks for the work they did and understand that the person feels proud of the work they did to it. so its always been like why say thats pointless useless ect.

it use to **** me off because i use to have a 1st neon and i would hear it all the time cuz im a big dude. it was my second car and but drove it all the time. and i hear get a bigger car until id tell them to line it up and would blow their doors off.

it was a 12sec car but all they saw until they got their *** kick by a 6'5 290lb dude in a a little car, was a neon and not all the hours i put into.

THERE SHOULDN'T BE HATERS HERE!! We all Love our own individual trucks and i believe this sight is a place for us to share....it goes back to what my momma said...if you haven't anything nice to say....don't say it at all. This type of truck is not my cup of tea...but who cares. This guys has put work into it and to have others drop bombs is not the way to go. This is not "hater" web page...it's a forum of like owners with like minds with a similar mindset...to advance our love of our Ram trucks!!
