I have autodimming side mirrors... How much can I tint my windows before I can't see out my side mirrors anymore?

35% on a GM makes them about useless, so 50% is the max you want to go but they blackout tint instead of the bluish/green tint that dodge uses. Anyone use 20% or 35% tint on their dodge and still see for reverse/driving with autodimming mirrors?

I have my appt. tomorrow morning. 50%, 20%, or 35%. Want to go the darkest that I wont kill myself!

I have 50% on mine and that is enough when it comes to the mirrors. If my mirrors are dirty I have to roll the window down to see good.

I have auto dim. and 20% tint and haven't noticed any difference.. I'm pretty much OCD when it comes to this kind of stuff..

 

Ouch... I made the mistake of getting 35%. WAY TOO DARK. I mean it LOOKS great from the outside... looks like it matches the back.

I called them up and I'm going to make an appointment to get them to take it off and put on 50%.

If you have auto dim side mirrors, I strongly recommend against 35%- I can't see anything in the side mirrors!
