I have got a flowmaster single out im guessing around 16" to 18" but im not sure bc it was on the truck when i bought it but i have no drone in my reg cab. I actually didnt even know i had an aftermarket muffler much less a flowmaster until i let a buddy drive it and when he took off i was standing there like damn that exhaust is loud. When i crawled under the truck to take a peak sure enough damn thing said flowmaster and i noticed the resonator was missing also. Sounds pretty freakin sweet from the outside and cant even tell on the inside. I have come to the asumption that drone is mostly depending on muffler location because mine is behind the cab. I assuming if it was under the cab i would get way more drone.

Hey Darek, I think the drone might have something to do with the size of the cab too, and how much air space is in there. I would think less drone with single cab and more from the quad and crew cabs. Also, my muffler is under the bed.

So I got under the truck this morning when I got to work and it looks like it's 3" inlet/outlet and they are offset on the opposite sides. The muffler is 26" long. So I found on Magnaflow's website a 22" long oval muffler that will work. Ordering it in a few then either I will put it in myself, or if I am lazy the week I get it, have a shop put it in for me. Let you know!

I think you have been sniffing too much exhaust with the 23.8 mpg comment. I have the same truck and have never even been close to 20 mpg.

I think its possible. I get 20mpg on a good level stretch of road and no wind. I just have a Bully Dog set to Premium and run 91. On average i get 17-18mpg highway tho.
