That is one nice, looking jeep, and I bet it's a fast machine. Its also nice to see Fiat owns ferrari and Chrysler.

It says 465 KW = 632hp, must be wrong right?

Sounds right to me. Stock 5.7L hemi in a pickup is 390HP, no reason a hopped up SRT 6.4 hemi couldn't hit 632HP

It is a typo... they either reported the hp number as KW without converting it... (truck makes roughly 470 hp) or just reported the imperial TQ figure as SI HP (TQ is 465).

As proof the reported TQ number is correct in SI units

I think the 465KW is correct.

After all, this IS Ferrari and (just as a for instance) Ford is apparently putting out a 650BHP Mustang next year.

I don't think you know how horsepower and torque work. Either that or math.

It is entirely possible that fiat upped the horsepower of some special edition cars... GM upped the G8 by 130 HP when they gave one to rapper 50 cent, Yamaha upped the power of the wr450F Supermoto for Ben Speis.

The thing is unless you use magic, you cannot bump HP by nearly 200 without affecting torque. The only way to do it even mathematically is to hold peak torque and raise maximum rpm by 50% (back of the napkin numbers if you want me to do the real ones I will). This means you would have to have a truck with a redline in the 9K range and a torque curve so flat that it does not dip from around the 2.5K range.

The only way the HP nurmber is right is if the torque number is wrong. The Torque number is the same as the torque number for an OE truck, so I give the odds at 2:1 that it is the correct number.

Might be using an Arrington Hemi
http://www.shophemi.com/c-459-61-hem...0-stroker.aspx

or - maybe they are using a mini cooper hemi
650 horsepower and 630lb-ft of torque
http://www.torquenews.com/106/sema-e...ooper-has-hemi

Or if 600hp is not enough

None of those match the stated TQ. Which is the same as a stock 6.4
