I have a nice 2011 ram but the chrome bumper on it doesnot have slots on the sides for fog lights I want to install foglights where the tow hooks should go and keep black cover with minamal cutting any one tried this if so let me know please thank you

 

I bought a set of hella optilux 1250's (if I remember correctly) for my rear bumper when backing up but never installed them due to putting HID reverse lights in instead. They were oval and seem like they'd fit in there nicely. But I don't have the measurements to know for sure...it'd be worth a shot if you could find them locally and check them out...

 

there is a mopar kit for fogs that actually fit into the middle slimmer part of the black cover (to allow use of tow hooks as well). I just put it on my truck, as i wanted to fogs integrated properly into power and didnt want an additional switch. i was going to modify them to fit into the larger tow hook slot but in essense of time i just installed per instructions.

i have found them to be an improvement over the dual bulb setup i have, and can now see the sides of the road much better to watch for critters and pedestrians.
