Looks like a professional or even OEM truck with it black like that but 4 of us in this house have driven the truck in bright sunlight and none of us have an issue. We don't have a sunroof do all of you that have an issue have a sunroof? Nobody over 6 feet here either. Nice to see people just fixing their own problems...simple ones like this with a great solution.

I don't have a sunroof but at times I experience this, and same with that Lil green light withtinted Windows at night it shines and I always think there's something outside beside ne. I find the chrome gets dirty fast finger prints and coffee and what not. I might do this too.

I know you can get plasti dip at home hardware in Canada, about the only place I could find it, and I had to order it.

I don't have a sunroof and the glare/reflection bothers me frequently in the summer.

By the looking at the pictures looks like it was a one beer job, left some traces behind

Ha, I had to think about that comment for a minute. That is a ball marker, not a beer cap.

That being said, if you take the curing time out between coats, it isn't even a one beer job.

Had some good sun coming in the sunroof the other day, no glare, and no need to put my hand over it just to keep the roof open. I am very happy with the results, and I and starting to think I even like the look of the flat black over the chrome anyhow!
