IMO don't go and spend the money on a factory made intake. Make your own. There are many sites around here, even ebay, that sell them or tell you how to make them. The cost of an intake is huge compared to the amount of gain your going to get. These new trucks have a pretty open system as it is, guys are only claiming maybe a total 1MPG out of it. Thats when combined with tuners, exhausts. That 400bucks or whatever could go to something much more effective.
There are guys that build a VERY nice intake just out of PVC from the local hardware store. They paint it up nice, and decal it up. The only thing your really paying for is the cone filter at the end. You can custom design it any way you want it, and your going to get just as good of gains as you will with a $400 one.
I put an intake into my 07, it was $100bucks from ebay and it was all ready for installation and came with a K&N cone filter. All I had to do was build a splash guard for it (this is just cause I didn't want to take the chance of sucking in water!) It gave me 1 MAYBE 2 MPG, but this was in an older truck. What I did like about it tho was the sound it gave. That would be the only reason I put one in this truck, is for that sound again. But I would build my own this time I think!

X2! ....I installed a K&N 63 Series and noticed absolutely no increase in mileage. From the *** dyno it felt like I lost some low end, all it added was a little bit louder growl underneath the hood... I also have a SuperChips Tuner 93 Tune, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust and a Magnaflow free flow y-pipe. Save the $$ buy a drop in K&N filter and call it a day.
