Came to 45000 with tax so I got a good deal.. As far as trading your 2011 you prob won't get much for it. Look at the Kelly blue book for an idea. Yourprobablybetter off waiting for a bit.

As far as rust goes lu I've got that magnet thingy and I live that is plugged to the battery and I've got no rust at all, and it goes through the salty ontario roads. So I guess those that ngs do what it's supposed to do.
I got mine same time and well I am paying 2000 less than sticker after adding 6 years extended warranty, tinted windows, nerfs and that is financed years. Mine is not totally loaded, it is a sport, no sunroof or leather. I do know that back then you could name your price.

50K? Jeeze I paid 28K for my 2wd crewcab hemi.

As for your frequent trade ins on trucks you owe money on - that is just crazy. Ever hear of a lease? How the heck do you wind up owing 21K on a 4 year old truck?

I got con`d into buying those magic electric rust protectors twice, $1000 bucks each time, BOTH vehicles STILL rotted the rocker panels, rear quarters, and the bottoms of the doors dude. I wont fall victim to that scam ever again. The stealerships around here try their damdist to sell them in the deal when i buy new vehicles. I always tell them to sell them to people that dont know any better, i`ve wisend up to the scam...lol. PM your address to me, i`ll send ya the last set that i took off my old truck. My old truck (2000 dakota) rotted right out at 60,000 miles, the magic rust boxs did nothing to save it or stop the rust. But you`re still welcome to HAVE them if you want`m...lol.

You wanna compare your $28K truck to my $45K truck...? And Nate`s $50K truck...?
Ther IS a big reason the price is alot higher than yours is... its called options/fully loaded, and 4 wheel drive.

It really gets me how some of you guys that come in here an flame all about how much less you paid for your trucks than others have. Get your build sheets out, lets see who`s got it and who dont. Some of us choose to have high optioned vehicles, some dont. If you paid less, great goodies for you, but dont try to compare prices unless you have the exact identicle vehicle, option to option. Ther`s a reason your truck is $28K, its likely not loaded and its ONLY a 2 wheel drive.

Easy Lu...don't take that to heart, some people just can't understand why someone would pay that much for a truck, myself neither!

At the time when I bought my 07 I was looking at a brand new 2010, it was going to cost me around 42,000 financed, with this Aircanada deal. That was FULLY LOADED LARAMIE. The problem was I could not get financed for anywhere near that. So I ended up buying the fully loaded 07 Laramie. The price on that truck was 32,000 at the time, but they brought it down to 26,000. I only owned it for a year and a half, just long enough to trade it in and get a brand new one like originally planned.

Dodge also did not lease back then either, it was you buy it, you sell it. You want to trade it in, you take the hit. Now they offer a form of leasing, I guess you could call it. You still have to finance the WHOLE vehicle, but they give you the option to trade if you are in a certain mileage. The biggest problem for many people is having the assets to be able to put that WHOLE financed truck on their names. Which was why I signed the 29,000 loan for the 07. To build up that so they would accept a higher one.

Well it cost me 600$ to get it and the deal was that if it rusted under 6 years I would get a free paint job, which it havent but thought it would pay for itself since a new paint job would be much more. I don't know where you live or what you drive through but my truck is still in pretty good condition for after 4 years, but i am kind of a clean freak when it comes to my truck, it's not dirty often, especially winter time i wash it almost every night before I park it and let it sit in the salt.

That's exactly the deal I came across too. The '10 were all over the lot, with two '09's remaining, marked waaaaaay down.

No tow mirrors for me though (then), I'm pretty sure they hadn't even come out yet, lol!

Too many people ONLY pay attention to what their monthly payment is going to be and DEALERS KNOW IT!

I was dating a chick not long after I got divorced who shopped for a car and asked me to come along when she was going back to sign on the dotted line. She had a year and a half of $380 a month payments left (originally a four year loan on what was a 4 year old used car purchase) and told the sales mgr. she wanted to keep her payments below $450 on the two year old vehicle she was interested in.

He told her "no problem".

So I'm looking over the paperwork and they gave her well below her pay-out on her car, which was about $3500 BELOW NADA WHOLESALE and were selling her a car that had an NADA RETAIL OF $13,800 for like $19,000!!!!!

Had her paying $2800 down and financing the rest for SIX YEARS and with the balance of her car added to the newer car deal she would be financing $26,800 FOR A F*CKING $13,000 CAR!!! But they were able to come close to her goal of $450 a month at $469.00 and she was going to go for it until I explained to her what she was REALLY PAYING for the car. She didn't even realize that they were financing it for six years! I about had the cops called on me to escort off the place too!

USED CAR DEALERS ARE WORSE THAN LAWYERS!!!

Opened the tailgate last weekend and saw the paint bubbled up and rusting at the seam of the bed just below the tailgate area of the box. I`ve never put one single thing in this box either. Washed and waxed more than most people would do on a regular basis. I even waxed the inside of the box. Along with all the issues i`ve had with this truck, since owning this truck since brand new, and now seeing the box begin to rust out in LESS than 2yrs, i now know i made a very big mistake buying this truck. The price i paid does NOT match the quality.
If your truck is rusting it would be an obvious defect and a warranty issue. You may feel that you made a big mistake but your experience is definitely not the norm.
