Tire recommendations....
The stock tires (Goodyear) on my 2009 SLT Hemi 4 x 4 are pretty much shot. Tire size is 265/70/R17 and I plan to stick to that size. I live north of Toronto so I have some winter snow to contend with. The stock M & S tires were OK, but I'm wondering if anybody has any recommendations for tires that would provide better all season performance. If a similar size (but slightly larger) tire will fit on the same rim I would be interested in hearing anybody's experience going that route. Appreciate any and all advice. Thank you.
Firestone's are good, they are the summer tire on my wife's Jeep GC.
I traded my stock Wrangler HPs for Wrangler Silent Armour. So far I love them. They were great in the snow last winter, and they are just as quiet as the stock tire. I was concerned they would be louder, as they are slightly more aggressive looking, but not the case.

I bought five of these before last winter and like them. I picked them up on sale for less than $200 a tire and for the money they are a good LT snow rated tire. They are showing normal wear and although I haven't been off-road much, I haven't had any problems on the back roads or during the winter months. They don't create much road noise on the highway either as I'm about 70% highway driving.

On my last truck (05 Ram 1500) I had a set of GoodYear Silent Armors intalled and loved them. They had great traction in both snow, ice, and heavy rain. They were a tad bit noisier than the factory HPs but the ride quality was better as well. They're a bit pricy but not too bad if bought on sale. I'd buy them again.
I like BF-Goodrich tires for trucks, great traction, decent life, and they are cheaper than other main stream brand as well.

I can't offer a personal review (yet), but when I was looking for tires I found that the Cooper Zeon LTZ are fairly well liked. Good traction, decent looks, great price (I got a set for about $575) and they wear OK. I ended up not putting them on my truck because I was able to skate through one more MN winter on my crappy stock tires due to having almost no snow in MN this winter. And they're still fine for summer. I'll have the set of Zeons mounted this fall.

Rob what size did you get... Same as stock? I'm looking at some Cooper zeon but can't find them for that price. I'm looking at nitto terra 295/60/20 or the Cooper zeon 285/60/20 (which are a little bit smaller) but for the extra hundred(ish). I'm debating with the terras and they are no where near the $600 range lol... I'm looking at 1200...for just tires
