I just bought a 2011 dodge ram 1500 crew cab 4x4. I am wanting to give it the off road looking style but really dont know where to begin. Everyone has been saying put 22s on it but i think 20s would be a better looking size with the correct tire. Does anyone have any ideas on where to start and if i would need to lift it etc etc.

22s??? 20s??? For off-road use??? "Everybody" must be 17 years old. For off-road you want as much sidewall as possible (and an aggressive tread). You should be looking to put the smallest wheel on that will clear the calipers - in this case 17s...

Well, he did say "off-road style" not "off-road use", but that being said. Even off road style needs to look like something that CAN go off road.

Either go with 20"+ and some nice sport tires, or like Hammer said, go 17" with some big meaty AT or MT tires. Like what he has in his sig. That is off road style, the can surely go off road.

Do not go 22" with an AT tire (if there even is one)

I put on a set of nitto terra grappler ATs in the stock 275/60/20 size(factory 20x9 rim) on my 2010. i gave $250 a piece for them. they look a hellavu lot better than the worn out street tires that were on the truck when i bought it.
