De-Badged. Now What?
I finally removed the RAM badges from the doors and the Longhorn badge from the tailgate.
They came off very easy and the suggestion posted regarding the remaining sticky pad is true.
Pull away from the pad. I got one off in one piece. I used a hair dryer, but it was hot enough, I doubt I needed it.
Here's my question:
I can faintly see the badges outline. It is only noticeable if you are looking.
I want to remove this remaining faint outlines.
I have some McQuires cleaner wax, but that was not enough. Any suggestions?
I will post the pictures once this remaining glue outline is removed.
It is smooth as glass right now, so I know I have removed all I can with what I have.
Compound? I do not want to mess up the clear coat if possible.
