Hello Rams owner of the 21st century. I am starting to look for my next truck and I have built many trucks on Dodge's website and I figured I should ask here to get more info.

I would like to know what would be the best model to go with. It will be a daily driver, family truck, hunting and fishing truck. I am looking for a quad cab, 4x4, Hemi. I don't care for 20 inchs wheels and most likely I will buy it used because I hate to deal with dealership. Also what about the Ram Box option?

As a family truck you may want to look at a crew cab over a quad cab.

Crew Cab, Outdoorsman (originally called TRX4), 4x4.

Go for a 2010 or 2011 and there should be plenty available.

 

I did a search and I couldn't find much about the outdoorsman on here. Is it really worth it?

 

An SLT would do just fine, nicely loaded.
I would prefer any model with the chrome bumpers.
But is you like the one color look, go with a sport. I didn't like the outdoorsman ( discontinued in 2013 I thought) the lower half was primer color.
