I've built plenty of rear ends and rebuilt plenty of lockers and LSD's. Which "gears" in an lsd do you think are going to get "pissed off"?

 

I just checked mine and it is a temporary 17" tire. And no way a 20" will fit in there. Too close to the pipes. Plus I can see oil from my diff flinging onto the gas tank now....Great.

 

A 20" full sized tire WILL fit in there. I have one in my spare rack.

 

CORRECT...!!! I did the same as well.

 

I may be wrong but I believe even though the rim is 17" the tire is taller to match the night of the 20" tires or pretty close to it, maybe someone should take their spare off and put it next to the stock 20 and see how much of a difference there is

 

I don't think your truck is even going to notice the difference.
