Default Cab steps for 2011 2500 Crew Cab

My dad just purchased a 2500 Ram Crew Cab. He is wanting to buy some cab steps, he likes the stirrup style but I have seen some bad reviews on them being weak under a 200 pound load. But at the same time, since it is a crew cab w/ an 8 foot bed the wheel base is long he can't have normal board steps. He has a 2003 Dodge crew cab with steps and he has bent those already.

I have been looking at these ones and wondered if anyone on here has ever used them or know of someone whom used them. They are kind of a cross breed between the board steps and stirrup steps. Rampage Stirrup Steps: http://www.realtruck.com/rampage-sti...011Y790MA.html

Or show me what you have or any other ideas. This truck will be off road since we will be using it on the ranch.

I have the OEM tubes on my crew cab, I'm 220lbs and they hold me just fine.

I guess your looking for something to go back to the rear wheels or just the cab length?

Just the cab lenght. How far below from the cab do the steps sit? Also how is the mounting points holding up? I notice the step attach to the cab and not the frame like others.
He doesn't want to bend another 200+ dollar step when he is off road, like his other Dodge Crew cab.

What about the Dominator II cab length nerf bars, pretty popular and are a combo of the steps and bars?

Any one of them will work off-road as long as you dont get to rough with the truck... know your limits, and you wont break stuff.

LOL, this is a farm truck. It will be streched to the limits, the other step that got bent happened when my dad was driving over a burm, that the road grader made while grading the road. It wasn't a issue of limits it was the steps where hanging too low and when the truck went over the burm it got high centered on the steps.

The first 6 days of my father having this 2011 our bulls decided that to make a new hood ornament. $7000 worth of damage. They even bent the bumper and broke the windshield.
