has anyone had a rattle in the center of there dash? first I thought it was coming from the center alpine speaker, while driving I would push down on it and it would quit. then one time I discovered if I turn the a/c on to defrost it quiets right up. its an 11 crew, any ideas? I have 15k on it so the 12 month 12 k squeek and rattle deal is over.

I have the same rattle. I'm kind of annoyed with it. I haven't tried the AC on defrost, but pressing down in the center of the dash seems to make it go away. I removed the radio and inspected the area behind it but couldn't find anything causing the issue. Mine's an 09 Laramie Crew.

 

What's the 12k rattle deal you speak of?

 

when I bought it new fron woodhouse, they said I had a 12. month 12k mile coverage that's for any rattling or squeeks. the bumper to bumper is just to fix things and don't cover annoyances. it went in at 9k for the third brake light leak. but of course it wouldn't do it while they had it.

F*CK!!!!!! I went in at 10k for a free oil change. Mentioned my back door rattle but I didn't have the time to wait. Now the truck has 14k and was waiting to take it in at 15k for the last of my free oil changes. I bought the truck as a demo with 5k miles...maybe the will be nice and still fix it. Worth a shot.
