Buying a Ram 1500. Which Trim Package
I have decided to purchase a Ram 1500 Crew Cab. I have not decided on the Trim Package. I have found several dealers with a 2012 Big Horn Package available for less than $30,000. This seems like a great deal to me.
What are the pros/cons of the different trim packages?
I really need the Crew Cab. $30,000 is my max cost. Navigation System and XM Radio are not that important.

JK,
You can compare all the different trim packages at the link below. Just select compare all vehicles from the web page.

One of the confusion aspects of deciding on a RAM is there are so many models. When we bought our Honda Pilot they had 3 levels to choose from. Here there are ST, SLT, Tradesman, Outdoorsman, Big Horn, Lone Star, Laramie, Limited, Express, Sport, I'm sure I forgot one. Of ya, Long Horn. I think the Lone Star is just what its called in Texas and its the Big Horn elsewhere. I'm not understanding why there are so many different levels but have continued to search through inventory comparing window stickers. I've found that the Outdoors man has most of what I'm looking for. I've also noticed that dealers seem to have their favorite options and order most of their vehicles that way. This sometimes rules them out for me.
Good luck on your search. Just keep looking and you will find out what's important for your application.
