Default '12 Ram Debadge - Bear with me...

Couldn't specifically find this in a search:

Has anyone debadged a 2012 Ram? I thought I had read that the large Ram logo on the tailgate is adhesive AND pins. Is this correct? I don't want to screw up a truck that doesn't even have 1500 miles on it.

Thanks!

You can't debadge the tailgate without bodywork, the badge is set into the tailgate. If you were to take the badge off, there would be a recess that would need to be filled in

Ok thanks. So there's one badge that'll have to stay.

Thanks for the help!

I just looked at my 2010 and the badge on the grille is also recessed so you would need to replace the grille or do body work to remove it as well. Looks like the only thing you could remove without body work or high expense is the "Ram" from the sides.

I removed the RAM 1500, the Hemi, the Big Horn and the 4X4 on the tailgate.

I know it's a pretty simple mod, but damn if it doesn't look good!

Hi!
(first post, yay me)
We bought a 2010 Big Horn last weed and are debadging right now.. My question is this..
does everything BUT the RAM symbol in the back come off? (4x4) without extra body work? I see lots of HOW TOs but not anything saying specificlly what comes off for each ear without body work.

thanks!

Yes everything comes off except the ram logo on the tailgate, and the one in the front on the grill as scatpack_69 also mentioned.

You might wanna check out this website if you want it to look even better. You can also customize your badges the way you want it to look, and it's fairly affordable. I got my punisher skull done there and turned out real great.
