Apparently morale at the plant is low, and quality is suffering.

And then people wonder why plants are being moved to Mexico. You can't always have what you want in life, a job is a job, if they don't like it then move on. Either way Chrysler's gonna get people to work there.

It's too bad that the Ram trucks are taking a hit for this. Shows how professional they are.

If you search a little further you will find they are at this same time training 1,000 new people for a new shift and implementing alot of the new mid year features so some problems are going to crop up.

Also it is a small group protesting and probably is not the consensus of the plant, the union is not advocating this.

I agree 100%. The world IMO is turning lazy. Not saying everyone does it, but the majority do. The don't want to WORK anymore, and complain to those who do. Then they look up at partners and such in large companies, doctors lawmen etc. Then they complain to them they make to much. In some cases sure (CEOS mostly) But especially doctors and nurses go through lots of demanding schoolwork and such to even become certified. Then the time on the job is no pushover either. Have you ever been in a hospital and had a nurse walk up to you and say how crappy her day is and wants to get out of there? Not many...

Then these people complain about working in a factory, where lots of people who don't have a job would love to work. Your in a nice warm facility out of the cold (ya that matters for us up north :P) everything is all laid out for you, in fact you probably don't have to even do much thinking there. I've never been in an automotive plant, but I have been in a plant that builds portable structures. When quality was going to crap we had to fix it, eventually we were always fixing and now production was being tampered with. What did we have to do? Overtime...I don't know about you, but this situation at the plant seems much too similar.

Yeah It must be rough to actually have a job, make good money, and have health benefits. I mean really...It must just plain suck. Now go back to drinking your 40's and smoke a bone out in the parking lot.....

Must be the ones who are picketing, wern`t at the "collective bargaining" part of the meeting.
The union isnt even backing them... better be careful for what they wish for.
If you dont have a good leader, you wont have good followers.
Morale will always effect quality, its part of the process.
