Default New exhaust.

Just bought myself a single 3" in/out Magnapack. I took the muffler to the exhaust shop I normally go to and asked the shop owner a few questions. He told me that we would go y-pipe, to 3" intermediate piping, to muffler, and finally to a bent piece of 2.5" pipe that would act somewhat as a y-pipe to the dual tailpipes. My question is, will this hinder flow seeing as the muffler does not have a dual exit? I trust the guy seeing as he always does an excellent job, but I'm just not sure. If I do some camshaft work and headers, will I see full gain? Thanks guys.

If you're going to go headers and a cam, I would think you would want true duals all the way back? Did you tell him of your plans?

Heh, I did. But uhhh, he's pretty old fashioned in his ways. His claim is that true duals are a thing of the past, and he believes that there is very little to be gained.
