Am about to purchase 2013 Ram 4x4 CC. Seems as if I have unique option requirements as the dealer is having trouble finding what I want. Western Canada. Does anyone know what the current factory order delivery time frames are? thank you

 

Depending on your options and color it may vary from 6-8 weeks to 10-12 weeks. However, since there closing the plan in june for refit (for 2014 build) that shouldn't take more than that

Delivery dates can not be guaranteed by Chrysler Canada due to a number of variable factors involved in the lead time of vehicle production and transportation. High quality standards are met prior to the release of any vehicle and additional delays may occur. We certainly understand that longer wait times are an inconvenience and we try to keep this to a minimum.

Any updates or new information from Chrysler Canada regarding an order is made readily available to our dealers only. I would advise to keep in contact with the sales department for any new information on the delivery of a vehicle.

 

Found a vehicle I can live with. Bighorn CC 4x4 5.7. All the options I need... BUT for some reason there are no Side Steps on the vehicle. The Window sticker and Options report says they are there but they are not on the vehicle... Big Horn package 25x comes with them as per Ram web site build process. Dealer not sure what to do... will probably not want to fund cost of Side Steps as they don't think it is their fault. Probably someone took them off for another vehicle and didn't do the paperwork properly. Could have been factory error, but I doubt it...

Any suggestions as to how I should handle this? Are they bound by the Window sticker to deliver what is listed or can they (dealer or Chrysler) change anything at any time. I could live without the side steps if I was credited enough to purchase equivalent product.
