Rancho lift and leveling kit, 35" tires, grill guards?
Considering a Rancho lift and leveling kit, auto shop said it's a 4" front and 2.5" rear lift. I believe I should be able to get 35" tires under it, but just want to make sure.
I have a 2013 2500 SLT.
If anyone has experience with Rancho stuff I'd like to hear it. I've never lifted a truck before, and while reviews on the internet seem to be pretty positive it's always good to get more information.
Also, I'd like to put a grill guard on my truck as the Army may move me back to Alaska or out west and I'd rather an animal get the worst of it over my truck should we occupy the same space. Any recommendations? I'd prefer not to lose the tow hooks, also would prefer not to have to drill anything.
Lastly, what tires would you guys recommend? I'd still like to be able to tow a heavy trailer or haul things (landscaping materials, gun safe, Fat Boy, misc.) when needed.
