So what do you all think? Could this be the SRT 6.4 package we have been waiting for?

Just a friendly FYI: nothing goes in the main Ram section, only in its subsections (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th). Moving this to the 4th gen general discussion thread.

 

Hopefully it's more than just a yellow R/T. I'd love to see the Bee come in at least Regular and Quad cabs.

Did you see the other teaser image? The one with the honeycomb yellow 8-speed shift **** and a very interesting set of Rumble buttons?

 

I doubt it will be a 6.4 but could get similar changes as a R/T in terms of gearing, ect. It will be a package very simlar to the 04 version. Color, decals, gound effects and some interior touches. If we are lucky some custom wheels (not part of the 04 package). It is also not set in stone, this is a concept that is going to be shown at the Woodward Dream Cruise.

I was excited when I first saw it, thinking if they make a 4x4 RC version I would want one. But then I remembered what a 4x4 RCSB sport now costs optioned nicely (just a couple hundred shy of 40) and there is no way I would pay another 2K on top of that for the Rumble Bee. Of course I am estimating the Rumble Bee option based on the Yellow Jacket option on the 12 Challenger. They will likely make quite a but more than 1000 though so they may be able to lower the cost a little on the option. I am still holding onto hope we will see a price reduciton in 14 on the Ram, much like we did from 09 to 10, but somehow I think it will not happen. I have been checking ramtrucks.com almost daily waiting for the 1500 to be a buildable 14 truck so I can option one out to see the price.
