Default M/T and A/T reviews

I'm fairly new to the forum and was wanting to hear some advice on tire brands/size for highway driving. I do a lot of highway driving and don't want a real noisy tire and don't want to feel like I'm riding in a tractor either. I understand as the tire wears it will be less smooth but have heard nightmare stories. Any help/suggestion on tire brands and size is greatly appreciated. Pictures wouldn't hurt either for ideas/look. Thanks in advance!

Stock sized Firestone Destination AT has been a good tire for my truck. About 50K on them and they are ready for replacement (91K on truck), I'll probably put the same thing on this time.

I swapped over to a set of BFGoodrich A/Ts at 25K miles or so. With about 15K miles on them, I still love them. I had the same tires on my previous vehicle, 2001 Nissan Xterra. I went through 2 sets, averaging close to 60K miles on each.

I went with larger than stock size, but on the stock 20s.

Thanks for the info..... I have been looking into the same ones War Horse and plan on keeping stock 20's for a while. Do you have a picture of your truck so I can see what it looks like with stock 20's? I have a 4" lift with leveling kit so I'm looking to get a nice size tire.

If you dont plan on much off roading, look into the BFGoodrich Touring T/A. (275/60/20)
I`ve had them on my 4x4 QC HEMI for 30,000+ miles, not even down 1/2 way yet on the tread.
EXCELLENT rain tire...!!! EXCELLENT ride AND handling quality...!!! No signs of chopping either..!!!
They are a 60,000 mile tire... i`m betting i`ll hit 70,000 with mine with no problem.

^lou knows his stuff. I've had multiple sets of terra grapplers and usually get 30,000 on them. They are an awesome all around tire and quiet.
