I just purchased a 2013 Ram 2500 C/C CTD. I don't like that the truck sits nose down so the dealer says they can put in a leveling kit (spacer) on top of the front spring to bring the front end up. But then I get a call last night they cannot do that or the entire warranty would be void. Has anybody else had this issue? Why would the warranty be void?:???

1) it is a 3/4 ton truck the nose is supposed to sit down so that when you put a load on it doesn't drag the tail

2) If it is a dealer installed mopar part then it shouldn't be voiding anything. If it is an aftermarket part that causes some damage (running front shafts at a bad angle) then they could void the warranty on a particular part.

Might want to talk to a different dealer.

 

Well I called another dealer and they said the same thing as the first. Since Dodge/Ram does not offer the leveling kit spacer it would affect the warranty...

They can't void the whole warranty for leveling. They can only void anything that breaks that can be blamed on the leveling. Which would only include the front suspension. Not that a leveling kit is going to break anything.
