Default The right tire for the right looku

2014 RAM 2500 Crew. Going with BF A/T but can't decide if I want to stuff the wheel wells or not. Thinking of doing a 275 70/17. This size is in my opinion is a happy medium. Power Wagon OEM is 285 70/17 but my truck doesn't sit the same as the Power Wagon. Any thoughts?

Did some more research and it looks like I can get a really good tire for less with a Copper AT3. These look like a pretty flat wide contact patch to the road so wondering if anyone has these and if they hydroplane on wet/slushy pavement?

Still looking for what you guys recommend on tire size for my RAM 2500 crew. Still feelin good with the 275 70/17.

i've got a levelling kit on my '13 1500 sport.. and have 35" toyo mud A/T's on it... fills the well so nicely had to modify the inner part of the mud flap to stop a slight rub when turning on a bump... makes the truck look like a truck (think i am a bit biased) i'll try to attach a picture to my profile sometime once i figure this forum out lol

i have cooper AT3's and they are great on my 09 1500. bought them after my brother has raved about them for last two sets of tires he has owned on his 2500 diesel. they look good and so far wear well (about 22k on mine) and are lower cost then BFG. I also like them because they are made in USA by a company owned and run in the USA.

they are great dry and wet pavement i used to constantly spin the tires on hard acceleration with the stock tires and any moisture on the road ... and they are as good as most any AT in the snow.

as far as size

Cooper AT3s are overrated. They wear terrible if you drive any gravel roads. There are a terrible snow tire after having real snow tires. I miss my GY Duratracs after i took em off for summer

I have the BF A/Ts, which I love overall. I wish I'd gone bigger on the sidewalls, but at the time I wasn't sure how much the 305/55/R20s would rub. I like the look, but I think they could be bigger, especially since I have a leveling kit on the front. I'm 2 or 3 years away from new tires, but next time I plan on going with 305/65/R20s at least, maybe even bump that sidewall up to 70. I'll definitely need some spacers at that point. I'm thinking at least 1/2, if not 3/4 inch.

i've also been debating on getting the BFG'S but reading reviews online alot of people are complaining that they are only getting 25-30k miles out of them before needing another set anyone have that problem on here? i really dont feel like spending 1,200 bucks on tires for them to only last 30k miles

I've got about 20K on my set, and they're no where near needing to be replaced. Of course I drive like a grandpa, so that might factor in at least a little.
