1500 Ecodiesel
Hey guys!
All new on this forum and hope you can help me with a couple of issues. I´m about to order a new 1500 Ecodiesel with the rambox for my company. It will be used for a bunch of different things, such as towing, transport of building materials and so on. So my idea is a super variable truck. And I´m thinking of putting a front winch that can be hidden behind the stock bumper. Do you know if that is possible to do? Also thinking about mounting a removable/foldable crane in the rear.. Any thoughts about that? Seen a couple of types, but what I would like is a foldable one that swivels 360 degrees in the rear corner. I´m a welder so building one is not a problem, but I need some inspiration

Welcome to DF!
I hope you don't mind but I fixed the title of your post. You had it as "!500 Ecodiesel" and I changed it to "1500 Ecodiesel." If you do not like that and want me to change it back, please let me know.
I will move your thread to the correct sub-section. For future reference:

Winch behind the OEM bumper... not likely (no room for it). You`ll have to install a custom made front bumper.
Truck Box Crane... you better reinforce the box where you`ll be installing it... these box`s today are PAPER THIN...!

Etrailer actually has them for Ram trucks... link below if anyone wants to check`m out.
Dont forget to select your proper model in the pull down menu.
They ALL look to be "frame mounted" as well.

Not a ram box fan, for any pratical cargo utily, you need a trailer, nothing of subtance can be hauled in a short box.
Thiers a reason welders run flat deck trucks on 2500 or 3500 frames.

Hum...now Im thinking on this one..!!!
Thanks for great inputs
Yeah I´ve seen those front mounted recievers. It´s of course a big bonus to be able to use the winch in both ends :-)
The idea was to "hide" it behind the front license plate (required to have that where I live
But otherwise I guess a custom made bumper is a must..
About the crane. I´m thinking it would be nice to have it ready for fast use and not having to mount it. I will be loading heavy tool boxes and material so it would be back saving investment. I understand that a steady mount to the trucks frame is necessary
