Hi, I'm looking at buying a 2011 Ram 1500 4x4 with a hemi and was curious on what mileage I should be expecting. Currently I have a 2007 ram 1500 4x4 with a hemi and only get about 12.5-13 MPG. Will the 2011 be better or about the same?

 

I just changed from an 06 hemi to a 14 hemi and the mileage seems to be at least 3-4 mpg better on the fourth generation. These were 2 wheel drives

 

Depends on your driving style and environment. I went from an '03 Hemi 4wd to a '11 4wd. MPG went from 11.5 avg to 13.5 around town. Hwy went from 15.5 to 17.5.

thanks for all the replies, but unfortunately the dealer sold the 2011 I was looking at. now I might be considering a 2013, but the one I am looking at has the 6 speed trans. and I am really looking for an 8 speed if I was going to go that new.
