Default exhaust advice

I recently did my exhaust in a 2011 ram 1500 I got to cats cut off made it tru dual with no cross pipes or anything and put on to 18" magnaflow tubes and the pipe size of exhaust is 2.5". But this is way to loud I could never imagine pulling my holiday trailer right now way should I do to quite it down I still world like it to be louder than factory but I really don't want that blat blat or the snappy sound right now it reminds me of blue bottels. Watt can I do add another magnaflow or resenator ? Im out of ideas

Maybe add a cross pipe. It's supposed to raise the exhaust frequency and may cut down some of the blatting.

Are you running glass packs? ( love my cherry bombs)
You might be able to find mufflers, super Turbos or similar and mount them on the side..but you add cost and restriction..

MY cherry bomb glass packs rock, loud when the want is thier and quiet at idle. .

Put your cats back on step one....put a 24" magnaflow on there step two.

I have magnaflow SS Cat back exhaust and if i remember correctly it's a 22" muffler and 5" SS double walled tips and a X-Pipe also my resonators are off my truck. It cranks up with a loud punch and when it comes back down to idle it quiets down and when I punch it that HEMI wakes up. Taking your CATS off is one thing that severely made it louder.

I tow a 21' MAKO Center Console and when towing it's not to loud bouncing off the hull of boat. I don't tow it far to the boat launch but I know I could do a nice road trip on it and not be bothered.

Go back and change those two magnaflows to two Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers and it will quiet it down significantly. I have used them and they work well at killing drone and too much noise, especially if you use the longest one that you can fit on your truck, and they will still sound racy

Put the cats back on........youll regret it if you dont......i run JBA titanium shorty headers-factory head pipe and cats-magnaflow x pipe-two magmaflowmedium mufflers into the factory tailpipes......true duals, sounds throaty, no check engine lights, and the my dodge dealer installed the headers, and stated that I do not violate the lifetime warranty at all......
