OK, thanks for all the input. At 59K miles now and shocks are not really bad, I'm just starting to prepare to change them out. When I replaced the original tires I went with Michelins which have a stiffer sidewall and ride a bit more stiff than the original Wranglers. Since this truck sees mostly highway miles I may just need to drop the pressure a few pounds to soften the ride when needed.
