Default time for new tires

Hey guys, i have a 2010 ram with levelling kit. i'm looking to go to 35's,and i want a mud tire. I'm looking at the toyo's or MT mt.'s ,i don't want to get into wheel spacers. is it true that i need 0mm off set to fit a 35x12.5x20 or 35x12.5x18. which size of tires perform better on the trucks?

not sure why anyone would want the hard ride of a 20, never met a togo I didn't like. I have a 35 open country in the xt version on my Power Wagon and love them

"Performance" is relative. It depends on where/how you are going to use your truck. If you are buying mud tires to actually use your truck off-road, then going to the smallest wheel you can fit over the calipers with the largest sidewall tire gives you monumental advantages over a large wheel/small sidewall tire combination.

I've belonged to a pretty big hunting club in the south Georgia swamplands for over 20 years now and you won't find ANYBODY at the clubhouse rocking 20s or larger wheels. Every once in a while a new member will show with that lifted 4x4 on 22s and they get to be the brunt of a lot of jokes. First time they have to get pulled out of even moderate muck because they had no floatation and couldn't air down enough for a decent footprint, they get the picture...
