Default New Tires

Picked up a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's in LT265/70/17 the other day and just got em installed today. They look great, ride great, they do hum goin down the road but thats ok aha. Got the set with 600kms on them for $850.

I like that "side knobby look"! They sure would require spray on tire shine. Trying to get in all those nooks and cranny's with a rag would take forever.

Thanks mate! I prefer to cover them in mud and dirt though haha. Very impressed so far with them so far.

Every time I see some of the names mentioned in posts, it reminds me of growing up in southern cal with the great innovators.

I briefly worked for Dick Cepek during a summer in 1973 drawing on a drafting table, in Gardena CA.. Just a few names of folks within 1 hour or less from were I grew up, and still live.

Mickey Thompson - Long Beach
Dick Cepek - South Gate
C. J. Agajanian - Indy 500 -Ascott racetrack Gardena - 1 mile from my boyhood home.
Edelbrock - Torrance - shop is 20 minute drive from my current home
Isky Cams - Culver City - used to go there and buy his cams
Banks Turbos - Riverside
Shelby - In Gardena - I was there a month ago - 15 minute drive
