NEW and IMPROVED
A soft tonneau is one of the mods on my list as well. Westin stainless bars look like a good choice for your new rig! Im a fan of the N-Fab steps as well, and they also come in a stainless. Superchips is another mod on my list, though Im debating between it and a Bully Dog programmer. A good K&N drop in filter seems to be the way to go I've been hearing about these trucks. I've heard good things about the Vararam system however. I was of the same opinion on exhaust, wanting to leave it stock but now Im itching for some sound. Myself I'd like to do true duals with an X-pipe and Spintech mufflers. Have you considered a light bar possibly? Many seem to mount curved ones in the bumper on sports.
edit: Personally Ive always liked the "go fast" noise they make!

You may like the Bak F1 bed cover. I know I like mine. I've had one of these on my last three trucks. It will support up to 400 lbs of weight. It sure does makes it nice when you need to get up there to clean the top of the truck.
Five inch exhaust tips would also look great on that all White truck.

Great looking truck!
I have a 'Truxedo' tonneu cover and really like it. (soft cover)
Hard to see (only had the truck 2 weeks, haven't got a lot of pics
)

It fits inside the bedrails, allows the sidebars to fit nicely, and not be in the way of the cover.
The velcro also works better than the one my dad has on his '09 D2500
The Truxedo also clamps in, appears to be a 'No Drill' installation.
I can get more detailed pics if you would like

Thanks for the compliments guys! I should have kept you guys updated a bit more, as I have made a handful of changes to her already. I have been busy with work and such, thus my absence. As for the intake, you all speak truths. I have heard this factory setup "sucks" as much as the aftermarkets, minus the cool sound. I am going to stay with the factory setup. Anyways, I removed the dealer sticker and plate frame and all that crap. I put on the obligatory DF.com sticker
I then put some Weathertech Floor Liners in and AVS In-channel Ventshades on. I also ended up with Westin Pro-4X Step Bars and a Bakflip VP from Santa. Which I have installed, as well. I will say the step bars were a PITA to install. The install steps could have been written better as well as the brackets marked. I ended up mixing up two brackets and ultimately putting them on in reverse, which have been corrected. The Bakflip VP was cake to install. I also have a Deezee Heavyweight Bed Mat and Tailgate Mat being delivered Friday which will pretty much end the box accessories. I wanted to do a spray in, but those are salty as hell around here. I need to save some coin in order to buy a tuner and the fact I have a trailer and my truck box will rarely see anything other than a tote full of straps or the occasional bag of mulch or 2"x4", the mat will do me well. Here are some basic pictures! (Thanks to the in-laws for the use of their garage, else I would have froze or had to wait for the install of each; my garage is full of toys and tools...)
I made her official!

Thanks man, yeah the shifting has done some weird things, its not overly clunky or anything, but it surely isn't the old 6 speed though I am getting used to it.
So tell me more about the catch can idea, I mean I know what they do and all but whats the benefits beyond a cleaner TB and a touch better efficiency? I mean is it noticeable?

Congrat`s on the new truck, love the white, gorgeous.
Just some advice, leave the stock OEM air box alone, it breathe`s very well with the paper filter. The OEM sport exhaust... its gonna get a tiny bit throatier when you get some miles on it, mine did and i like it and i can still be stealthy when i need to be.
Just some food for thought.... when that 8-speed transmission gets a little clunky/coastal bump shifting @ 3-2, 2-1, just drive it. There is no fix for it right now, so just live with it unless something drastic happens. Its gonna take some time to learn how it works... they ARE a little different than the old 6-speeds. The transmission has a learn feature within the programming, you`re going to notice it will shift differently from time to time... dont worry about it.
If you do a oil catch can like a lot of guys do, save your money, just vent it to the atmosphere and put a small motorcycle breather filter on the end of the hose. Block off the throttle body hose, done. Least mod money spent saves it for other goodies.
Best advice i can tell you, expect less from the truck, and you`ll always be happier.
Just ENJOY that new truck...!!!!
