Default Upgrading Worth It?

Hey everyone, I am somewhat debating with myself about upgrading my current 2010 Ram Quad Cab Big Horn (111500 miles) for a newer (I'm thinking 2013 or up) Ram 1500 and was just curious for any of you in a similar situation if you did go ahead with the upgrade and if you are happy with it and/or regret anything.

Saying that, I am still very happy with my current rig... its has everything I need and works great for work, it is a ton of fun to drive especially for such a 'heavy' truck, looks outright bada$$ IMO, and I absolutely love the power of the HEMI. However, if I were to proceed with upgrading, I would be looking for something with lower miles (obviously), the factory warranty, the 8-speed transmission, and most likely a backup camera as I feel that is a nice safety thing to have in a full-size truck (However this is not completely necessary as I know aftermarket cameras can do the trick as well). Just having a hard time decide if these things would make the upgrade 'worth it.'

I know this is completely an opinionated questions, but I would appreciate to hear any of your responses! Thanks ahead of time!

If the 2010 is paid for then why bother. If you have the right radio then you should be able to add the factory camera to your current truck.

I have a paid for 2009 2WD CC with 88k miles that has been very good to me with only a few minor issues and it has the lifetime power train warranty. I also considered upgrading for the 8 speed and 4WD. I looked at the new Eco Diesel and have been following it on a couple of forums but due to the amount of issues they are having, I decided to stay with the Hemi.

The way I'm looking at it now, is to wait for the next major upgrade due in 2018. I think a new frame, body and who knows what else are worth waiting for. In about 3-4 years, my truck will probably be ready for a replacement anyway. I don't think getting another model that looks almost identical to my current one is the way to go.

If you upgrade now, you will want to upgrade when the 2019s come out. If you keep up your truck, it should last and you can put away some coin for now.

I went from an 06' to a used 11' in 2014. I would save your money and keep what you have for at least a few more years if the truck is not giving you any problems.
