Default Exhaust

Want to change my single exhaust that comes out behind the rear tire to a dual side by side exhaust that come out just in front of the rear tire (same side of the vehicle just dual tips.) Anyone have experience doing this and have some suggestions on how to do it and products to use?

There are several brands that offer kits. Gibson, flowmaster, Borla to name a few. Do some searching online to see the various products available. Or you could have a muffler shop do it.

I had that exact thing done to my 3rd gen. I went to a shop and they custom did the work, I think they charged me $280 out the door. That included muffler, new true duals and custom bending, they did a great job. This is my old truck.

Same as above, but I went with Magnaflow when I did this to my 2008. Sounds awesome, and looks awesome as well.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of it installed on my truck, but here is a link to the system.

You could probably find a system like this on Ebay for a decent price, around what Arctodus paid, or slightly more. Really depends on your budget.

It depends on the sound you want for your rig. I personally like the Magnaflow. It has a nice rumble.

For my 08 I went with Gibson supertruck exhaust and it sounded amazing and looked really good. Same baffled straight through design as Mangaflow and sounded similar which is what I have now.

I did the same thing on my 06'. Dual stainless tips before the rear wheel and a custom free flow muffler. I did leave the factory resonator in that is just beyond the Y Pipe. Unless you have MDS disabled, i would recommend doing the same. I ended up buying the Magnaflow Y pipe but never installed it. I still have it in the box if anyone needs it.
