I heard from the horses mouth that Fiat Chrysler announced all gas engine vehicle powertrain warranty will be reduced from 5/100,000 to 5/60,000 starting with all 2016 vehicles. Bumper to bumper will remain 3/36.

Diesel offerings will continue to have a 5/100,000 powertrain warranty...

 

Isn't that pretty much in line with Ford,Chevy, GMC?

 

In Canada we have had the 5/60,000 miles all along.. well its 5yr/100,000km
Same difference...

 

Nothing shows faith in the reliability and quality of your products more then shortening the warranty.

 

I know our powertrain techs are going to like it. If they don't go bankrupt by then.

 

mostly all vehicles in Canada are 5/100,000km or 5/60,000 miles for many years-- Only one i can think of that is still 10/160,000km/100,000mi is Mitsubishi. I think some Chevy's are as well

 

Mazda, or some of them have 10yr/Unlimited KM

I made sure to get 7yr/160,000km on my new ram or 7yr/99,419miles lol
