That's a great idea, I've been searching for a place to mount my dual release holster for my Glock, but I have the flip up center console which isn't large enough to do this.

Thanks for measuring it for me.

The flip-up consoles are just too shallow for a good holster option. I had one on my previous truck. I settled for about a 30 degree ramp design and was never really satisfied with it.

I used a left handed adjustable cant Fobus OWB holster and just clip it to the little storage pocket on the side of the console. It holds it at a good angle just to the right of my knee. No need to waste time opening the console if someone approaches me while I'm stopped.

I decided to just take a IWB and clip it ous idea the console. Is very inconspicuous and I can slip it back so the seat hides it when I'm not in th truck. Easy to garb and my leg hides it when I'm in the truck. I may pick an all black one up so it hides even better.
