Default Tire Pressure monitor question

Received a message to service tire monitor system. Checking this, I found the left front pressure info is missing. The other three are indicating proper pressure. Other than replacing this $$$ sensor, is there something I can do to fix this? Checking the actual tire pressure shows the same 60 psi as the other front tire.

Thanks,

You're probably correct. I can't think of what else could be the problem. Time to research best (least expensive) solution.

Buy the sensor from Rockauto for $45 and have it changed for $20

Thinking because I have the extended warranty, simplest thing to do would be let the local dealer replace the sensor. Wrong! Turns out this warranty doesn't cover these sensors so after a four hour wait and $174.00 later I drove away with the <30 minute repair complete. Lesson learned.

yikes!

At least you got it fixed, and don't have to stare at the dummy light.

The guys at Discount Tire charge $60 each to replace the sensors.
