I am currently stuck between two trucks. One is a 2004 Dodge ram cummins 5.9 liter with a 6 speed manual and has 109,676 miles lifted with 35 inch tires 5 inch MBPR exhaust for $24,995. The other truck is a 2012 RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi outdoorsman with only 28,005 miles for $26,995. I was wondering which truck would be the best deal and why. I do travel a bit due to the fact that I race motocross.

Hello, run as fast as you can away from the 2004. It is overpriced by at least $10,000 USD.


The 2012 has real low mileage. Check the book value first though.

i would hands down go for the 5.9 cummins.

 

I agree with huntergreen. Cummins all the way. More dependable, longer lasting, and not as thirsty especially if your going to be pulling a trailer.
