Default Limited or Rebel

Looking to purchase a new truck this month and had been looking at the Rebels, but having a hard time finding the one I want in Texas.

I did come across a decently priced Limited and was contemplating which was a better choice for me. I'm by no means a weekend hunter or off roader, I do head out to the family farm here and there to have some fun, but most of the time it's been and forth to the office.

The Rebel is a toy truck, the Limited a 'luxury' truck, I'm really an in the middle your of guy. Limited has an the bells and whistles, but a lot of massive amount of chrome. They're both 4x4 with air ride.

Tough choice, what should you choose if they were priced out fairly close?

The Rebel, IMO is overpriced.

Just my opinion, of course.

Default New to 1500's but not RAM

Well, I pulled the trigger and bought a new Rebel the day after Christmas, got a great deal. I've been a 3/4 ton Diesel guy since 1990 but don't have the need for the diesel or want the maintenance, my last Diesel was an 2004.5 and loved it and miss it. Test drove the Rebel and immediate felt this is going to be a fun truck to drive. Looking forward to dealing with all you 1500 guys.

the air ride is fantastic. So much better that std suspension. the only downfall is the cost to fix it off warranty.

if you ever need an alignment...make sure they put it in aero mode.

I heard non-warranty on the air suspension is costly, I'll keep the truck for 3 years and then move up to something new.

air suspension parts are expensive for any make or model...its not a dodge thing. My family doctor needed rear shocks for his acura with air and active suspension...honda wanted $5000.
