hey all new to the site (so forgive me if its in the wrong spot) got a 2010 ram 1500 i am looking for ideas on a plug and play remote start where i don't have to cut into the OE harness like if have seen any ides would be grateful

 

Just get a factory remote start kit. It would be the best option plus comes with 2 more Keyfobs /w the remote start button. Here for me, its actually cheaper to get the remote kit installed by the dealer then just 2 fobs.

Personally ive used Fortin's Evo-All in my Work 2010 Caravan CV. Plug and play mostly. You buy the unit, then the corresponding T harness for your make/model. For the Caravan you unplugged the ignition harness from the switch, Plug the T harness in, then go thru some basic programming steps with the unit to program the unit which is like press lock twice, ect to read the fobs. I got the Flash programming unit, which means you can program the Run time, Gas or diesel, ect

I believe with newer models it now the Evo-One that does the remote start, the Evo-All doesnt anymore.
