Default Ram air ride suspension

Dakota owner for the past 21 years, looking to make a big upgrade to a 2013-2014 Laramie. Have test drove a few with the air ride & a couple different times got a service & repair air suspension immediately message on the display! Salesman tried to tell me some hooey about that being normal. Love the ride, but don't want to be stuck with an unreliable air ride. My question is, should I stay away from air ride or not?

Anything that says service immediately cannot be good. Have you tried driving on without the air ride?

if you live in the cold climate, stick with conventional coil spring suspension. the air ride is awesome, but there will eventually be leaks that you will have to deal with.

Thanks for the replies. Decided to avoid the air ride suspension. Purchased a 2011 Ram Sport Crew Cab. So far I love it!

i love the air ride but the parts are expensive. only the dealer is equipped to repair them. to many cold climate leaks at this point.
