Thoughts anyone? I see some good deals and I still love the 2018 style. I've always read don't buy a new series model car until it's been out 1-2 years so the bugs are worked out, which would put me at 2020-2021.

I just bought a new 2018.. I was mulling it over just like you were. The 5th gen is offering some cool features. I opted to go with the last year of the 4th gen. Lot's of interesting new tech coming, I just preferred not to buy the 1st year of a new generation. I'm sure I would have been happy either way.

 

I never buy first year newbie vehicles, been stung to many times in the past with problems until they got them worked out after couple years. I just bought a brand new granite crystal pearl 18 ram hemi Sport QC 4x4, loving it...!
I`m not feeling it with the 2019 either... looks like a chevy, a ford, a toyota gangbanged the RAM, and the the RAM truck got knocked up, shows to many similarities of the chubbie turd yota`s...sorry, not feelin it.

 

I went in to buy a 2019 yesterday - which is a beautiful truck, but the deals on the 2018's were too good to pass up so I came home with a 2018.

 

Same here. The rebates/incentives were substantial. I like the look of the new truck, except for the big Ram sign on front grille and rear. Don't know why, I just prefer a Rams head. But anyways, I'm loving this truck.
