Hello all, just bought a 2016 Ram 1500, thanks for all the condolonces in advance....lol. really, love the truck after driving a dakota 1998 that I still have and running. Just replaced the rack and pinion at 300K on the dakota. Everything I replaced on this old truck. The newer one is different, i love it so far! I guess after NOT being a Dodge Chrysler fan from the 70's I thought I would never be driving around in a Chrysler product. You just never know. I remember when the 98 came out, I bought it new cause I like the way it drove. At that time Dodge raved about this as being "The all new Dodge" ... guess they werent kiddin cause it served me well with no breakdowns on the road. I can't even tell you how many trips I did on this thing from NJ to Florida. Anyway, gonna do some reading on this forum and get a little more familiar with the newer truck. Hope it serves me as well as the Dakota! Cheers!
