my horrible experience with dealerships and my truck...
I think its funny.. when I have a good expeince with the dodge dealership I get a phone call from chrysler Canada to do a survey of how the dealership treated me and if I was satisfied.
If I have a bad experience with the dealer ie ends with me being mad, I get no phone call from chyrslef Canada asking me to do a survey about how I was treated and if I was satisfied.

RRT like a known defect from the manufacturer, Chrysler issue it to dealership to "fix it before it break" when they come in for Oil change, repair, or before they sell the car for customer satisfaction. The difference between RRT and Recall is, RRT are only covered during waranty period, recall is forever.
The Lemon law is not that simple, they has to prevent ppl abusing it simply because they don't want the car anymore or can't afford the bill.
It sucks to spend $40k on a truck and the dealership is not helpful, here is what you can do

If you can afford to not have a car for few days or talk to Chrysler "corporate", and make them pay for a rental, tell the tech to drive it home for few days, and watch the problem himself. please understand, the Mechanic is not getting pay when "looking for the problem" during his work hour, you be better off if you allow him time when he's not working.
I wish you luck!

Update.....
I took the truck to my local dealer yesterday. I physically showed the lady at the desk the frozen condensation inside the lense of the 3rd brake light above the box. She said "oh ok... ". Then she wrote on a sticky note "leak in lense" on a paper and I taped it to the lense. And I physically showed her where the truck has water in the cab when I take it to the car wash.. .
I went to check on it today.. lady at the desk said "we found no leak.. ".. I said "well I can make it leak and show you guys".. She said "sure lets go to the trucl.. oh and we did the two recals for your truck as well".. I had no ****in clue there was recalls for my truck.. The dealer in edmonton didn't mention any either. I told the lady this and she said "well there are recalls and you should have gotten a letter. " she then told me the codes of the recalls and basically what the recalls were. A dial and something else. I asked her to show me the paper work and explain it to me.. She said "chryslers policy is not to show the paper work for these recalls.. I can't explain them to you either other than just tell you what was replaced".. I was pissed and states its my truck and I want to know. She said sorry its policy.. so we went to my truck and this kid no more then 19 starts telling me he couldn't get it to leak and there isn't a leak. I said "give me a hose".. Sure enough I got it to leak.. the kid said "oh I see the problem.. you rear window was not put in the right way at all... its actually a really ****ty job".. he showed me how the sealant for the window is all blotchy and un even.. I said what now, do you re-seal it? he said "well we should take the window off and completely re do it". At this point the head mechanic came over and wondered what was up.. we showed him the shoddy instalation of the rear window.. he said "ya.. thats a terrible job and thats your leak.. whole thing has to come off and put back on again"..
At this point I also said it once leaked in another spot. He asked me to show him and I showed him the peice on the pillar where the drivers window meets the windsheild.. I showed him the peice I popped off with a knife to drain it.. He didn't even questions if it leaked.. he just looked at it and said "lets go look a the computer and see if I can get some more info.. I think its the weather stripping around your door."
We walked over to the computer and he looked up the blow up diagrams of the pillar and what needs to be done if it leaks out the spot I showed him.. He looked at the pics and turned to me and said "your windsheild was put in by the same guy who ****ed up your rear window... the windsheilds got to come off and be re-done as well... sorry.. same guys probably screwed up both"..
finally a decent person who works at dodge who didn't question me when I said **** was broken.. he just said "its a lot of work, but let me keep the truck tomorrow so I can do up a parts list, order the parts and get them on your truck next week when they come in".. The little 19 year old and the front desk lady had the stupidest look on their faces..
So I asked the head mechanic "Hey, did they fix my 3rd brake light that had water inisde it?" He said " I don't know.. " I said "well its on the work order.. can I show you?" he said "ya lets go look".
We went over.. the 3rd brake light was not even looked at.. the little 19 year old said " I kinda just thought it was frost so I didn't do anything".. I said "ya it was frost.. but it was on the INSIDE of the lens".. head mechanic looked at him and I told him I physically showed the desk lady the frozen water built up on the inside of the lense and we marked it with a peice of paper and tape.. He said "we've have problems with that lense with the power rams. Not realyl on this model.. But we'll order a new gasket for the lense and put it on. Might have been the same guy who did the windsheild and rear window."..
Finally a dodge employee who doesn't try to back out of things and acutally beielves the customer and admits when a problem is a problem..
I left the truck their for him to get a list of things he needs tomorrow and order the parts. HE also said he's going to put a smoke machine insside the truck and see if its leaking anywhere else..
Again, with the service I ahve had with dodge, I'll never buy one again. I would if I got to deal with this head mechanic everytime and not any of the other retards...

I hope its smooth sailing from here on out for you.
me too... although I don't think it will be. Too many issues, too bad of service... I am still calling chrysler Canada... I am glad I waited because I have more I need to speak to them about. FOr example the edmontondealer NOT doing the recall work on the truck when I took it to them. They are supposed to check to make all recall work is done when a truck comes in.
I picked the truck up at the dealership yesterday..
The service desk lady said
"It was a lot of work and time, but I think I found out what we need to do. The problem is is that it is A LOT of work to fix your truck. We need to take the windsheild and rear window off, clean them up and put them back on again. I still need the owner (the dealership owner) to look over everything and approve it. We might not fix it though. We may pay someone else to do the work because it is such a big job".
I guess its good that its going to be fixed, but should I be worried that they are probably going to pay someone else to do the work??? Help!

Well they usually can fix everything on a truck but for something like a window its not everyday. I can see them bringing it to speedy glass or a company similar because that is what they do everyday, they specialize with windows and therefore probably easier for them to do it that way. I'm sure most dealership would do the same for windshields. Same when you get your windows tinted they mostlikely get shop to do it. As long as you don't have to pay a dime and they fix it what do you have to worry about.
If it leaks again just go back and they'll fix it again, they pretty much have no choice.
