easy kev your welcome to post here... I think a half ton diesel would sell extremely well and the first of the big 3 to do it will rake in a gold mine...

Yes, it has been confirmed that they will be putting the 5.6L V8 CTD in the 1500's ,while the 4.6 V6 CTD will be going into the Dakotas and Durangos.

just to give you guys a heads up. . .chevy has a duramax to go into the 1500's as well that is pumping out 310hp and 550tq. this should also be for the 09 model year. . .5.4L if I remember correctly.

Just a thought. . . isn't that a little too much power to be in a 1/2 ton pickup? I mean people will see those numbers and be pulling 50ft yachts wondering why they keep blowing out rearends and trannys. Those power numbers are rediculous.

too much power. . .nope. if they blow out the axel from towing too heavy it is the owners fault.

most of the people I work with think the power I have is too much

what do you think the v8 cummins will get for mileage in the 1500?....20-25ish maybe......or do u think more then that?
