MPG on the 09'
i drove one with the 4.7 and 3.92 gears bout 35 miles (10 city and 25 highway) and it was getting about 21 according to the overhead....who knows how accurate that is considering it was an engineering vehicle tho
i would expect prolly the same if not a little better, but too too sure yet...the few times we've gotten a Hemi we haven't been tryin to see what the mileage is like...too much fun to drive lol
I heard the percentage increase the Hemi is suppose to get (Although forget what it was). Everything else being equal, which it may not be, the percentage calculated to1 more MPG over the GEN III. Of course the other factors I do not know that will affect MPGs is wind resistance and weight.
The 2010 will offer a hybrid MDS Hemi, which debutes in the 2009 Durango.

it's also on the 09 Aspen
lol......ok well the Ext. Cab 09 Ram i drove today (2WD, 3.92 gears, slight wind) was getting 18.1 on the interstate...i dropped it off and picked up a RCLB 4.7L 2WD 3.92 gears and it was getting 18.3......so take it for what ya will
