I have not seen official pricing but I have heard Chrylser executives say the words of no price increase over the 08s. However, do not expect the incentives you see today, at least not in 2009.

I dont know there may be some fairly decent incentives for the 09', I'm not sure how things are in other areas but around here Ive seen alot more little cars driving around than full size trucks. And those that have full size trucks are not driving them because of the gas prices. Also the dealership near me has been offering alot better deals on trucks as they've been losing sales. So who knows, I know Im going to wait a little while before buyingan 09'QC hemiSport so there may be some more incentives by then.

I'm interested in the '09 R/T RCSB. I wonder how bad they'll gouge us for one of those?

I think the MSRPs on these need to be comparitively lower than they are now. GM made sure that the new Chevy/GMC trucks were lower than their predecessors. They even made mention of this fact in various articles. I've been crunching numbers on these trucks (GM & Dodge) for a few years now, and the GMs are in fact optioning out lower than their previous models. Subtle, but definitely more competitive pricing on the current GMs.

Dodge has recently been hammered in the media for being one of the most overpriced vehicles. A fully optioned HD Laramie can approach $58k (i.e. MSRP). This is way out of control (and the reason I haven't purchased yet) and especially concerning in our current economy. After only about 2 years on the market, the GMs are already offering incentives on their trucks. But I probably wouldn't expect too see any incentives from Dodge at least for the first 6 mos.

I know this is an older thread but i'm new to the list and Ifound the comments on pricing interesting. Especially that Dodge got heat for being so overpriced.I'm in Wyoming and one of the reasons I drive a Ram is because they are so much lower priced than anyone else in this area. My first Ram was an 05 and I paid$32,000 for it with employee pricingI got it for $24,000. Everyone was doing employee pricing at that time butFord and Chevy werepriced so high to begin with that they couldn't touch Dodge. And i'll tell you we have alot of Rams running around this part of the country and thats probably why. I now have both an 07 and an 08 andboth were priced at $40,000 with a $12,000 rebate.Which again, in this area beats the others though I did drive around and I did notice thatFord and Chevy hadreduced prices to stay competitive. My 07 is a Big Horn Edition with DVD, UConnect, 6 disc changer, navigation, and entire chrome package including nerf bars and bed rails and came with a bedliner and itwas priced at $42 with the mentioned $12 grand rebate bringing it down to $30. I couldn't get into a Chevy or Ford with thoseoptions for less than $45 and no rebate.
