with diesel fuel so high now
it won't help us save money

since this is an election year
ask the federal politicians running"

"Tell me how you are going to eliminate using heating oil in the USA, so that supply can be diverted to diesel fuel use and lower the prices that your stupid ULSD regulation hit us with ?"

long term solution is to move to electric based heat via nukes. Its the only way and the national grid needs to be upgraded too.
