Anyone who has ordered, were you able to work a deal? Any rebates expected after the 1st of the year?

I know the answer is probably "we won't know until then", but asking anyhow!

 

gixxer, keep in mind on my deal, that I'm using the military sales. The deal that I worked on my truck was roughly a $1000 off msrp to start with, $500 loyalty, $1000 for ???, plus a $5500 rebate on the 2009. The hemi I want to upgrade to has $6500 rebate. So I'm about $8K under msrp. This only means one thing, if they can sell it to me at that price, they will have a lot of room to negotiate when you find the '09 you're looking for. My advice, wait till they have a grip of them sitting on the lot, then the '09 rebates will start floating around.

 

Are they already throwing out rebates or is that part of the military discount? I know Chrysler is hurting to sell trucks, but rebates right after introduction is a bit odd.
