BS

The dodge Heavy Duty and Ford Super duty both have coil front suspensions. Are those real trucks?

this truck is a smooth riding daily driver that can work just as well as it can play.

Before airbags, big rig trailers used coils.

Yes, the 2500 Ram is a real truck, I own one, Dodge and Ford went to coils in the front to improve the ride and turning radious over front leaf springs, your not carring a half ton to 3/4 of a ton in front of you, leaf springs are better for heavy loads, the coils give a better ride.

I don't like the rear coil suspension, I agree the Ram rides really nice, I just drove a 09, but its to little truck for my work needs, to me its just a car with a box, now not every one needs a 2500 Ram, a 1/2 to is still rated for a 1/2 ton, but I still prefer leaf springs..

I just want to know if they will work on my 05', I love the ride quality of the 09' and would swap out my suspension in a heart beat for the 09's if I could. The only thing stopping me from buying the 09 now is the fact that I just hate the acceleration on them. If they had a NON-MDS version of the Quad cab Sport I would probably take as I think thats whats killing it for me.

truckin151 with the some work the rear suspension would probably work but if u a non-mds 09 u could probably get someone or a tuner to get rid of the mds function and have ur 09 u lucky dog

thats ture but uses the computer to do so

This system should triumph where the Cadillac 4-6-8 failed because of the speed of modern electronic controls, the sophistication of the algorithms controlling the systems, and the use of electronic throttle control. The HEMI will be able to transition from eight cylinders to four in 40 milliseconds (0.04 seconds The system deactivates the valve lifters. This keeps the valves in four cylinders closed, and there is no combustion. In addition to stopping combustion, energy is not lost by pumping air through these cylinders. quote allpar.com

man i love allpar the ultimate mopar site
